Happy EASTER!!!!

Easter is such a celebration! I remember a time when I was so fearful that we would not be able to have kids (remember...it took a year and a half to be lucky enough to get pregnant with Malia!) and now I cannot believe how blessed we are. Our girls are very different but both incredible. Malia is 4 and Ava is 2...they are best friends. I particularly love this pic because I realized how big Ava's hair really is (although I swear I tried to do it.)

The girls woke up to find out where the Easter bunny had hid their baskets...Ava's was in the closet and Malia's was in the dryer...that tricky bunny! The girls then got their Easter dresses on and we went to church.

Our silly girls!

Malia is quite the drama queen...don't have ANY idea where she gets it from!

The girls needed more sand for their sandbox...what better colors than purple and pink? They were sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!

Ava's 2nd Birthday!!!

Ava had a wonderful second birthday party at the YMCA! She loved doing all of the gymnastics, playing on the toys, but mostly she loved seeing her family and friends.
Malia and Ava both wanted to take their picture in Ava's chair.

Ava loved her sleeping monkey from Auntie M, Jerry, Dre, and Jazz. It was so great because I remember when Jazzy had one just like it! Opening gifts.
Grandpa decided to do the teeter totter with Ava.
Ava and Malia loved this trampoline floor!

Ahhhh....Gabby is such a cutie! Love her and her parents (my cousin, Cory and Sara:-)
So happy that Carrie and Becky made the drive!!!! Love these ladies! Can't wait to meet Carrie's little girl, when she gets here. :-)

Suncadia 2011

We have started the best family tradition of going to Suncadia and renting a house. It is incredible to spend the weekend together doing great things. The best part is always just being together!
Malia loved ice skating with her cousins!
Grandma Shell and Malia petting the horse.

The grandmas took the girls on a carriage ride...they loved it!

Working on a puzzle!

Ava loved playing in this box with the canned food...it was hilarious to watch her stack them up and knock them down!

Malia loves collecting rocks...she couldn't seem to get this one to budge though!

Family fun!

Out for our family hike!

Christmas Joy!

What a wonderful life we have!!! I know that I say it constantly...but we are always aware how blessed we are. Two beautiful daughters, an amazing marriage, our needs are met (with room for a few wants also:-), and we are both able to work doing things that we love! Christmas was such a wonderful day. We spent the time with family and friends. We enjoyed dancing the day away to Michael Jackson on the Wii and the kids were spoiled rotten. Malia and Ava both LOVED meeting Santa and telling him what they truly wanted.

Dancing away to Michael Jackson!!

Hitting the high note!

Claudia and Malia sitting with Grandma Sheila!

Ava was pooped by the end of the day...Auntie J had no problem holding her:-)

Even Grammy (Tommie) had a great time dancing!

The girls LOVED their Baby Alive's from Grandma Sheila and Grandma Shell.

Better bring it!

We got the nieces these fedora hats...they look so cute!

Malia's Ballet Recital

Malia had her first ballet recital. Her part was only about 20 seconds long but she loved being on stage! We were lucky enough to be in the front row. Ava loved watching all of the different dances but was extremely upset when Malia went out on stage without her.

Halloween, Snow Days, Thanksgiving, and more~

Here are the girls at Halloween. They had a great time visiting their cousins and then trick or treating in our neighborhood.
The girls loved the snow! Malia didn't want to make a snowman because she didn't like to see the grass appear when we started getting the snow. We did a lot of snow angels instead:-)

Malia looks forward to her advent calendar from Grandma Sheila every year...I caught her on a chair "just looking" at them:-)
We had the best Thanksgiving! My best friend (the girls godmother) came all the way from Maui for a visit...it was so special!

Zoo Boo, Ballet and more!

Life is moving right along! We have been having such a great time spending time with family and friends. My dear friend Jen (Auntie J to the girls) has just moved back from Reno and it has been such a blessing to have her here!!! I even made her take up golf:-) Now...if we could just get Melly back here....:-)
It is so wonderful to have women in my life that are family and friends. Lucky me!!!! Love them!

Here we are at zoo boo at the zoo. We are looking at the tapir. Ava is going through a stage (dear God let it be a stage) where she will only go to mommy. Mommy's arms were very sore after carrying her through the zoo for an hour and a half. Here daddy, Malia and Ava are watching the walrus (whew...mommy got to put her down for a few minutes!)

The girls taking a picture...Ava is still looking over at the walrus:-)BALLET!
Malia is back doing ballet again. She really loves it and has a great time with Ms. Theresa. Malia is the type of kid that follows EXACTLY what the teacher is doing (as you can see in this pic!)Our lovely ladies...again, Ava has to be held:-)
Beautiful ballerina!
