Summer Fun....

As summer ends, we have had a blast. We ended with a birthday party at a stable that both girls LOVED! It had a petting zoo, bounce house, they got to ride a pony and more. It is such a joy to watch them grow up together. They truly love being around each other. Ava wants to do EVERYTHING that Malia is doing and Malia is such a wonderful and patient big sister. What a joy!!!

Malia is always happiest when her cousins are with her. Makenzie and Claudia are always so patient with her and Ava...what great girls.

California 2010

We had the BEST time on our California road trip! We left early (about 2 am) on Sat and got to our first stopping point (Elk Grove by Sacramento) at about 4. The girls did such an amazing job in the car both ways!!! We visited with family, went to Disneyland, and even snuck in a short stay in SanDiego so that we could go to SeaWorld. What a FABULOUS summer memory!

Malia was so excited to see the castle...she recognizes it from her Disney movies:-)

Playing in the water at the beach. Something about sand that makes you feel like a kid again!

Trying to break out!
Malia LOVED this jungle cruise.
Malia was chosen from the crowd to dance in the parade at Disneyland! Such a great time!
The Blue Horizon show at SeaWorld. I was in awe...especially because I LOVE dolphins!

Finding Nemo...I am not going to lie...the submarine had me a little claustrophobic!
Malia was so fascinated by the princesses...she kept staring and waving. Too cute.
Driving with Daddy!
Ava was not happy that I was paying attention to anything but her.
We had a wonderful dinner with Aaron's father and his two sisters. It was such a wonderful experience to meet with them.

This is Aaron's grandfather, Daddy Alfred. He had quite a bit to do with Aaron being the amazing father/husband he is today. We love him dearly.

We owe a huge thanks to our good friend Dale and his amazing partner Adam for painting our house. They did an EXCEPTIONAL job and were so wonderful with the chaos that is our life (the girls, dogs, ect:-) It was such a wonderful treat! We have wanted to get our house painted for so long...it is such a joy to have it done!Ava was exhausted after watching the house painting. ADORABLE!Malia will never forget this...and neither will we!

Ballerina Girl!!!

As long as we can remember, Malia has wanted to be a ballerina. She has begged me to teach her but I have NO idea of ballet! So she finally got her chance to be a ballerina at the Fancy Nancy Ballet Camp. She LOVED it...I have a feeling this will continue on for years to come...

Ah.....Summer Vacation(s)!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! Both girls really enjoyed the fireworks this year. It was such a joy to share their excitement with them. :-)

Here is the golf course (Myrtle Creek) that we went to. 10 of us golfed...5 ladies and 5 guys. It was such a beautiful course!
What a great time we had!!!!
Here's the ladies!!!!! My mom and I shared a cart and a lot of laughs. Poor Auntie Jewel may be scared for life after Rachel almost hit her with a ball!!!
Here is the basis of Aaron and my nights...chillin with our girls and taking turns gambling. His turn was WAY better...I lost 20 dollars and he won 1100...
Summer allows us time with our favorite godkids...Andre and Jazz are our joy!! We had a great time at Chuck E Cheese.
This is Ava driving over Andre' with the train. They both thought it was hilarious!
Here we are at our annual Lake Chelan. This year, Ava was big enough to get into the water...and that girl LOVES TO SWIM!!!
Here is the crew getting ready to putt putt...noone told us it was 18 holes and real grass. We got a chance to practice putting to help our golf game!

Malia was ecstatic to have time with her cousins, Claudia and Makenzie. They are so good with her!!!!
