For our six year anniversary, Aaron and I decided to head to Reno for a few days of golfing and gambling! My family (gotta love them) decided to drive down and meet us. We had such a great time. Grandma Tommie kept Malia here at home and did such a great job of keeping her entertained. We are so blessed!

This is the rental car that Aaron got for us. It is MUCH cooler than the Ford Focus I had originally rented. I have always wanted to rent a convertible and this car went WAY beyond my expectations!

It doesn't even look like a convertible when the top is up....I was in love with this car!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaron and I had some one on one time when we went to Carson City to check out the capitol.
This is my dear friend, Jen. She and I have been inseperable since I was 15 until she moved last year to Sparks, Nevada. I miss her dearly and was SO glad to have some time with her.
This is me with my uncles. I called this our Yuen Lui shot...we had such a great time that night!

The fam in Reno...watch out world!

Malia already loves the zoo! We have only had our pass for 3 days and we have gone twice! She was upset here because we were wasting precious time on taking pictures when we should be going to see the tiger and monkeys!
Here is Malia's first day of swimming lessons. The goal of the four sessions is to get used to the water and eventually get them to dunk their head under water.
Truly 'advanced' students will eventually blow bubbles and jump off the side to their parents. Uh...would it be bragging to say Malia is already advanced? :-) Malia loved the water so much and she kept trying to get her teacher to watch her. It was hilarious.
Malia is already practicing writing her name. She thinks that every letter is 'I' but that's okay:-) I tell her that we will write Daddy lots of post cards when we get to Maui.

I felt so lucky to spend the day with the important men in my life:-) Afterward, we went to a celebration for my friend, Dale. He graduated with his Masters/Pro Cert from UWT...following in my footsteps:-)
On Fathers Day, we spent the day as a family. We had lunch with my dad at Mama Stortini's (yummy!). Then we went and tried to feed the ducks (uh...they wouldn't come over to us) and played at the park.
Malia is so lucky to have Aaron for a father.
